Livestream & Shoutcasting Coordinator
Location: Remote (Ontario, Canada)
Time Commitment: Flexible hours, part-time

About OSEA:
The Ontario School Esports Association (OSEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a vibrant esports community for students across Ontario. Our mission is to provide a platform for students to engage in competitive esports, develop valuable skills, and foster a sense of camaraderie.
Position Overview:
OSEA is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Livestream and Shoutcasting Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the esports experience for students by bringing their competitions to life through engaging livestreams and shoutcasting.

Key Responsibilities:

Livestream Management

Set up and manage livestreams for OSEA esports events.

Ensure high-quality audio and video production during livestreams.

Collaborate with event organizers to coordinate streaming schedules.

Shoutcasting
-
Provide enthusiastic and knowledgeable shoutcasting commentary during esports matches.

Analyze gameplay, highlight key moments, and engage the audience.

Work closely with other shoutcasters and production teams to deliver a seamless viewing experience.
Community Engagement

Interact with the esports community through social media during livestreams.

Respond to audience comments, questions, and feedback in real-time.

Foster a positive and inclusive online environment for viewers.

Technical Support

Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during livestreams.

Stay informed about the latest streaming technologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Enthusiasm for esports and a good understanding of popular game titles.

Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Basic knowledge of livestreaming platforms (e.g., Twitch, YouTube).

Ability to work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in shoutcasting or livestreaming is an asset, but not mandatory.
